I'll usually grab a Drawmer 1976 for adding saturation. Hate to say that because I like their products a lot. And honestly its fantastic on upright bass and even decent for fixing small equal temperament issues on acoustic guitars, etc. I put the work in to get things right, but still gotta fix a note here and there. It'd be cool to hear of other peoples experienced with them and what they prefer. I know there are a few different kinds of things like this now. Stuff like this has made it so much easier to mix on different monitors and headphones in between places. I keep a folder of reference tracks that I update all the time and plug this in at the end of the mix bus. I've owned a Bricasti and this gets really close.
Not to bash on anything, but more to get a feel for how others have moved along from one thing to another.įab Filter Pro Q 3. Thought it would be cool to hear what people are reaching for lately. Was just thinking about my own gear choices and evolution of my list of tools I've use over the years.
